I am an Abstract Artist living in Maine.
Biography
I am a retired Anthropologist. My inspirations are the raw human artistic expressions from the earliest humans through the eras and across the globe encompassing patterns, colors & textures in a mosaic of my own art. My primary medium is acrylic on canvas. My mode is nonobjective art (abstract) with occasional figurative elements viewed through my own lens.My process is to hear what voice and colors are speaking to me that day. I stop after the first layer and observe. I let the canvas speak to me and tell me where it wants to go, what does the vision need to come to fruition onto this plane. Each layer I repeat & the canvas decides when it is done
